Pearls + Gingham + Snow

Last week we had the most beautiful snow in Nashville and I am already missing looking out the window and seeing a landscape of white and feeling like I am wrapped inside a snow globe. Snow is such a rarity in Nashville – we usually get one big snowfall {aka 2-3 inches} and dustings here and there throughout the winter season. Everything shuts down the first day the snow is around and the day before everyone is at the grocery store getting bread and milk. Since we don’t get much snow around here I couldn’t resist sharing a few pictures…
But first can we just talk about this pearl ring? Since I am a southerner it almost goes without saying that a love for pearl anything is basically pre-programed. The ring is from Chic Wish List and let me just say from jewelry to clothing to shoes all the way to accessories they have some beautiful items on their website and you can get 70% off your order with code: atouchofsoutherngrace70 – I mean…who can resist a deal like that!?

I paired the ring with my current favorite J. Crew coat and my favorite J. Crew sweater of the moment. I feel like I could be a J. Crew ad; half my half of my closet is probably J. Crew! Anyways, I love how the ring pairs so perfectly with the blue and white gingham car coat and the white cable knit sweater, but then again, what doesn’t look good against blue and white, especially when there is snow in the background!

  1. Ah, snow in the south is so exciting! Both your ring and your coat are so cute! The blue is fun against all that white!
