Frenchy & Cha Cha

I have been following Alyssa Harris, creator of Willa Heart, on Instagram for about a year now and I am so enamored with all of her designs. Harris created designs that usually features two animals with a Chinesery flair to them – from pillows to stationery to prints that can be framed and displayed Harris’ designs are sure to inspire a lively dinner conversation.

I was so excited when I received my Willa Heart package in the mail – she seriously has the cutest packaging complete with a pink envelope and a gold heart to seal every thing in, and let me just say her prints are even cuter in person than they are on the internet. It was kind of hard to pick out a print just because they are all so cute and have a great design element about them. I knew I wanted a print that featured a pair of dog {obviously, because I’m a dog lover}, and either a pink and green theme or blue theme. I ended up going with the Frenchy & Cha Cha print and I absolutely love it!

Right now I have the Frenchy & Cha Cha print on an acrylic picture/plate stand and plane on adding a gold frame to it to really set off the and show case the print. I also love that her prints can basically be used anywhere – they would look perfect as part of a gallery wall in a home office or hung in a set of three in either a bathroom or kitchen.

I am such a fan of the 1960’s, and I don’t know why, but for me all of the pieces offered on the Willa Heart website seem to have a very 50’s/60’s flair to them. And not to worry, if you are not a big print person her stationery and pillow designs are equally as fabulous, and I almost forgot to mention that Harris has teamed up with Toss Designs to create a line of pajamas and makeup bags being released very soon!
