Random,
but I am so glad that I started doing this post series; it is so much fun to
read different articles, watch different videos, and share some of my favorite
fashion pieces. I try to limit myself to sharing just five links total so the
series doesn’t seem played out or just a collection of a bunch of different
links that becomes tiresome to look at, and this week it was particularly hard
to narrow it down to only five…
I’m not
even going to pretend I that I like all five links equally, because this is my
favorite, hands down. You simply have to admire someone who is in her seventh
decade of her dance career and continues to fine tune her art and inspire
people of all ages. I love her message that you truly are never too old to do
what you love, and life is too short to do any thing else than what you love –
I feel like that is a message that will resonate with anyone.
The
Winter Olympics are by far my favorite – the figure skating, skiing,
snowboarding, and all things snow – I can just get into each and every one of
these sports so easily. I also love the opening ceremony and seeing the
athletes in all their winter sports apparel. Let me just say Ralph Lauren did
not disappoint – the red, white, and blue are extremely on point.
Three//
Tory Burch Clara Flat
I know
these flats have been around for a few months now, but I received a pair for
Christmas and have been wearing them on repeat. They are so easy to dress up or
down and are beyond comfortable and the bow…the bow is reason enough to be
obsessed with these shoes!
Who would
have ever thought that they would be shopping at Abercrombie & Fitch after
high school ended? Certainly not me, but I love how they reinvented themselves
a couple years ago to appeal to an older audience and now a I am a huge fan of
their sweaters again! I just bought the split back sweater a couple weeks ago
and every time I wear this sweater I receive so many compliments
Who else
loves looking at beautiful kitchens on Pinterest? Every time I am in a beautifully
decorated kitchen with an impressive stove I am always overcome with the sudden
feeling to channel my inner Julia Child and cook beef bourguignon.
