Fall(ing) With Summersalt

Summersalt is widely known for their amazing swimsuits, most of which are currently one sale right now… Until I started working with Summersalt I never really paid attention to any of their other items that they offer: sweaters, shirts, joggers, hoodie, jackets, pajamas, etc. – I have to admit, that I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of all of their items! Even as I write this I am wearing one of their sweaters that I am completely obsessed with.

I am sure a lot of you are like me and were completely out of the loop on just how amazing their other items are. So… I thought I would share a few of my personal favorite Summersale items and a few items I have my eye on with you all! To receive $10 towards your Summersalt order, be sure to use code: LAURENJS10

The Flirty Ruffle Sleeve Sweater

This is the first Summersalt sweater that I tried, and it was love at first sight and touch. I love a ruffle detail anything and this sweater has the perfect amount of a statement ruffle. If you live in a city where you still need a transition piece or if you have warmer winters, then you 100% need this sweater!

The Coziest Cahsmere Blend Hoodie and Jogger

This Cashmere Blend Hoodie and Jogger outfit is a complete dream! It is like slipping into the safest, warmest hug ever, and sometimes that is a need after a hard day or week. I love the fact that these pieces are sold separately so you can either purchase one or the other, or purchase different sizes to create the perfect fit! This will be your new favorite outfit!

The Luxe Cashmere Blend Two-Tone Sweater

This is the sweater I am wearing while writing this post… The quality of this sweater is amazing, it looks more expensive than it actually is, and it is super soft complete with a very flattering fit. This is a fall and winter must-have for everyone!

The Reversible Eco Quilted Lightweight Jacket

I have been eyeing this item… it comes in 4 different colors, but I personally love the navy and light blue combination. Plus, blue is universally flattering. This is another Summersalt item that I feel looks far more expensive than it actually is.

The Luxe Cashmere Blend Mix Stitch Sweater

This is a new item for Summersalt, but how perfect is this sweater! I love the style of this sweater, the colors it is available in, and the fact that it looks a little old school. Will definitely be adding this one to my Summersalt collection!

The Luxe Pima Long-Sleeve Statement Tee

I have worn this Tee countless times and I have only had it since September… The Pima fabric is sooo soft and it is a great piece that can be worn alone or as a layering piece!

Links I'm Loving

I usually do these posts on Fridays, but I have been so bad about posting on here this month. I promise I will post on here more regularly, especially with the holiday season coming up! Since I haven’t done one of these in a little while I thought it would be fun to switch things up and share a few of my favorite links to start off the week!

One// Sarah Flint Rose’s Parker Sling 50

The Rose’s Parker Sling 50 is such a dream and so perfect for the upcoming holiday season. The deep yellow amber suede and gold satin that make up this shoe is just such a stunning combination. Sarah Flint designed this shoe with tastemake Rose Dadouchic as part of her Visions of Vienna Collection, and this pump really is such a vision, love it! Use code: SARAHFLINT-BALAURENAID for $50 off your first pair of Sarah Flint Shoes!!

Two// MAE Outerwear

Sarah Mae of Mae, Mae’s in NYC just released the most beautiful collection of coats for the fall and winter season and I am completely swooning over each and every one of them. The classic lines complete with embellished bow buttons is just everything. My person favorite is the Sophia Coat in Glen Plaid… Use code: SOUTHERNGRACE10 to receive 10% off your entire Mae purchase!

Three// Ree Drummond Individual Caramel Cakes

I love the way pumpkin spice smells, but when it comes to actually eating something, I am much more of an apple cinnamon and caramel fall person… Is it just me or do individual desserts just seem cuter? This Individual caramel cake from Ree Drummond looks absolutely delicious!

Four// Maxwell & Geraldine Fall Collection

Maxwell & Geraldine is a newish to me company I love their overall aesthetic. I just ordered my first ever item from them last week and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Kate Dress in Blackwatch Plaid and the order arrived in less than a week with regular shipping and their shipping packaging was fantastic.

Five// The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5

The Handmaid’s Tale is such a nail bitter of a show this season… I have to pause it and take a break during the episodes on multiple occasions. If you are on the search for a show to binge, I highly recommend this one.

My Favorite Fall Recipes

As many of you know, fall is hands down one of my favorite times of the year. I love how the thickness of summer starts to fade away and that the mornings are greeted with a crisp lightness to the air. I not only love the weather, fashion, and holidays that accompany this time of year, but I just adore the food that is typically associated with the cooler months of the year. I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite fall recipes, and most of them are super easy and do not require much time to put together!

Classic Minestrone Soup

This is hands down the best Minestrone soup recipe I have ever tried, and the best Minestrone soup I have ever had, period. Perfect for a fall winter night!

Chicken Noodle Soup

There used to be a restaurant in Nashville called the “Bread & Company”, and they had the best chicken noodle soup. It was always so comforting on a rainy day; you could ask to have it in a bread bowl, and the soup always had linguine noodles with plenty of chicken and vegetables – it was food for the soul. Last year I tried to recreate the recipe and it turned out to be a hit with friends and family!

Easy Crock Pot Cream Cheese Chicken Chili

I always love a recipe that you can pretty much dump in a crock pot, set the timer, and forget about it till it’s time to eat. This slow cooker chicken chili is delicious, packed full of flavor, super easy to make, and serves about four or five people {and to feed more all you have to do is double the recipe}. Love this recipe for days when I have a lot to do or am feeling a little lazy…

Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

This one is slightly more time involved than the chicken chili because of the prep work, but this is another chili recipe that you can put in a crockpot, set and forget about. Personally, I am not a big beef person, and this turkey chili is so amazing and such a great alternative to a traditional beef chili. Side note: I personally love to put some macaroni noodles on the bottom of my bowl then top the noodles with chili and my favorite chili toppings!

Stuffed Belle Peppers

The pioneer woman has the best tex-mex recipes, and this one is another of hers that really hits it out of the park. You can make these are ahead or make them in the moment. I love the fact that there isn’t a ton of meat in this recipes and the veggie and rice mix is the ultimate comfort food for the cold night. If you are like me and aren’t a big beef person, I usually sub ground turkey or chicken for the beef.

Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas

I think at this point it is safe to say that I am a fan of Tex-mex food, if you aren’t I promise there are different recipes coming up, so keep reading… This is one of the easiest recipes to make, and it is always so delicious! Perfect for a night when you don’t want to spend a lot of time on dinner

Barefoot Contessa Fried Chicken Sandwiches

Fair warning, these sandwiches are time involved, but the end result is so worth the effort that goes into making these sandwiches. This Barefoot Contessa recipe was inspired by her favorite chicken sandwich from the Shake Shack, and no offense to the Shake Shack, but Ina’s Chicken sandwiches are next level! You will love how this recipe turns out.

Chicken Pot Pie

Chicken Pot Pie is one of my most favorite fall and winter dishes. Anytime a restaurant has chicken pot pie as an option on their menu. I really wanted to be able to make this dish at home, but could never really find a recipe that I 100% loved, so I started playing around with coming up with my own recipe based off of some chicken pot pie recipes I had already tried, and not to toot my own horn, but this recipe is pretty fantastic, and easy to make!

Cider-Roasted Pork Tenderloin

At first, I was a little skeptical of cider-roasted tenderloin, but Ina always knows best, and this recipe is amazing and the flavors in this dish just taste like fall.

Chicken Parmesan Pasta Skillet

This is one of the easiest things to make and it is beyond delicious. Pasta, in my opinion, is one of the ultimate comfort foods. This recipe only requires one pan and it is just so delicious!
