While it
may still be a little too warm {at least where I am from} to wear boots just
yet, boot season will soon be upon us all in just a week or two. I will admit I
am one those people who will wear sandals for as long as they can drag it out,
but hey, on days when you need to get a pedicure it is much more convenient to
have wear sandals than boots. Now, I may wear sandals for as long as it’s
acceptable to do so but I do love boots.
Being
able to wear boots is one of my favorite things about the fall and winter
season. There is nothing more comfortable on a fall night than to wear
leggings, a flannel shirt, a pair of boots, and cozy up next to a fireplace
with a book or watch a movie. Also boots are the perfect substitute for heels
in the winter time and oh so much more comfortable; as long as it’s an occasion
you can get a way with wearing boots to.
In my
opinion there are at least four types of boots everyone should have in their
closet for the fall: the bean boot, a pair of good rain boots, booties, and
riding boots, and as an added extra stylish pair the over-the-knee boot. The
bean boots are perfect for those snowy cold days. Rain boots are a must for the
fall and winter – is there anything more unpleasant than walking around with
the bottom part of your jeans/leggings soaked with rain water? Booties always
look fabulous with a pair of distressed jeans or really any skinny leg pant.
Ridding boots and over-the-knee boots always look so perfect with a sweater
skirt/dress and of course leggings {in my opinion every boot looks good with
legging; so comfortable!}. Below are a few of my favorite boots from this
season if you are looking to add to your boot collection!
