Happy Hour Time

Well look who finally decided to show up…it’s so nice to see you again, Friday! I know this week was only a four day week but it felt like such a long week to me, I am definitely happy the weekend is finally here! I hope everyone enjoyed their four-day workweek and are ready for a great weekend to be had! Here’s to great memories and some downtime. Cheers!

Drink Special!
Sombrero
1 ounce pure agave tequila
1 ounce coffee liqueur
2 teaspoons crème de cacao
4 ounces light cream
Ice cubes
Grated nutmeg for garnish
Shake the liquid ingredients vigorously with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass

New Lilly Pulitzer Agendas

No matter how old I get or how long I have been out of school now I don’t think I will ever outgrow writing everything down in a planner. I would honestly be lost without one. As shocking as it may be… I have never used the calendar that is on my {shameful, I know}. There is just something so satisfying in making to-do lists then crossing things off or writing down future plans, blog posts, appointments, and other obligations. Don’t get me wrong, I use technology, social media, etc. like nobodies business but for me, as old fashioned as this is going to sound, technology will never replace pen and paper.

As most of you know Lilly Pulitzer makes one of my absolute favorite planners; bright colors, beautiful print, and includes 18 months (incase you’re counting that’s four extra months) ummm...I think their agendas are pretty much perfect! As “nerdy” as this may sound I always get excited when the new Lilly Pulitzer Agendas come out during the summer. I always seem to fall head over heels for all of the prints used for the Agenda covers, this year I am tor between Jellies Be Jammin and Lets Cha Cha.

I can hardly believe that this is the last week of May and that spring is almost over and summer is on its way in. Spring in the South is my favorite season of the year, hands down. Summer Sunnies

I have to confess I am a little sunglass obsessed… Oval, cat-eyed, classic, even heart – who knows where to begin! In the summer I usually have two pair of sunglasses in my handbag at all times; sometimes I even have three pair of sunglasses with me, but hey, a girl has to have options! In my opinion one can never have too many sunglasses. Sunglasses are a fun accessory to play around with and one that can definitely add to an outfit! Memorial Day Deserts

I hope everyone’s long Memorial Day Weekend is off to a great start so far! I am sure that most of you will agree when I say one of the best parts about any holiday are the holiday themed deserts!
