My Favorite Beauty Products of 2017

Not necessarily “new” products from 2017 but I stumbled upon so many ‘new to me’ amazing products this past year that I just absolutely love. I have been planning to do this post for a while and I am glad I waited till January to put this post together, because in December with all the holiday shopping, gift sets, etc. I found a few extra things to include in this round up!

L’Occitane Hand Cream// Ok, I have heard amazing things about this hand cream for years and have just never tried it. Back in December I ran out of my regular lotion and had a little tube of L’Occitane Hand Cream that I probably got from Sephora last year with my VIB points and let me just say this stuff is a miracle worker. I literally have 3 tubes of it now – one for my bedroom, bathroom, and car.

DryBar On The Rocks Shampoo// Back in November I broke down and finally replaced my DryBar hair dryer {btw, first hair dryer ever to last me more than 5 months – it lasted me 6 years! Definitely worth the investment} and of course I bought the special gift set that was out for Christmas. On The Rocks shampoo and conditioner were included in the set; I was honestly a little hesitant since the shampoo is a charcoal shampoo and black, but also curious. I decided to give it a go the day before I got a hair cut {just incase things went wrong} and I ended up loving this shampoo, it is amazing. I don’t was my hair every day and I usually use this shampoo at least once a week and it does such a fantastic job of cutting through the dry shampoo and other hair products, not to mention it makes hair look amazing!

Besame Cake Mascara// I came across this company on Instagram and completely fell in love with their packaging and the air of old elegance that this company perfectly captures. When I was browsing their website I noticed that costumers were raving about cake mascara and had to give it a try. I love how crisp and defined this mascara makes your eyelashes appear, and the only thing you need to remove this mascara is a bit of water. The only down side to this product is that it is not a great mascara to wear if you’re going to a movie where you are going to cry and be around people that make you laugh super hard because it does run when your eye water

Besame American Beauty Lipstick// I love the shade of this lipstick; I’m 99.9% sure that it would look great on just about anyone and it lasts for hours. It’s hounds down my favorite lipstick right now

Fresh Lotus Eye Gel// I thought this eye cream sounded too good to be true, but it actually does work. This eye gel helps to reduce puffiness and dark circles. I keep mine in the refrigerator, because it helps with puffiness kept at a normal room temperature, but when it is chilled it gives it a little extra kick!

T3 Whirl Trio// My mom gifted me this for Christmas and it works amazingly well. I usually use the DryBar 3-Day Bender and I will admit that it is probably what you get used to and I will probably still use this iron the most just because I can whip through my hair in record time with it. I’ve never used a wand before so it took me a few tries to get the hang of and it takes me a little while to do my hair just because I’m not used to it, but the results are amazing and the curls really do last for a few days.

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base// I started using this cream at the end of last winter and now I feel like my skin could not survive without it. It’s hydrating, not greasy, and just all around a great product. I usually apply it after my morning shower and before I bed at night.

Bobbi Brown Extra Glow Skincare Set// Just everything in this kit is amazing! Try it, you will love it – It’s basically a facial skin winter survival kit

Essie Sugar Daddy// When the polish from my manicure starts going south this is my go-to polish color right now. I found it at Kroger’s when I was in a pinch and the color is just so flattering and famine

Fresh Sugar Tulip Tinted Lip Treatment// This is the perfect lip product. It’s moisturizing, has SPF 15, and it’s a flattering color and it’s tinted enough to be able to use it as a lipstick substitute.

DryBar Sparkling Soda// When I went to the DryBar back in August the person who styled my hair used this product and it smells amazing! It’s supposed to give a high-gloss finish and adds softness to your hair without weighing it down.

Stila Matte ‘N Metal Eye Shadow Palette// Another Christmas find. I’ve used Stila eyeliner before, but haven’t tried any of their other products. I am impressed with this eye shadow pallet – it has stay power and the colors are beautiful. I usually feel confident to try different combinations when it come to palettes, but I found with this one you get the most flatter color combination if you just go straight down the row.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Fragrance// This is a product I came across through the Sephora VIB rewards program and it is my most favorite perfume right now. It has kind of a spicy, floral, fresh smell and last through out the day.

What are some of your favorite 2017 Beauty finds?
