Book Gift Guide

It’s only three more sleeps till Christmas Day and time is running out to buy those few last minute gifts. Luckily when it comes to books, you don’t have to worry about finding the right size, color, fit, or shipping during the Christmas shopping crunch time – all you have to worry about is finding a good book that your friend or family member will love to curl up by the fire place with.

I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite books and a few popular books that I’m sure would make for a great Christmas present!
All The Light We Cannot See, by Anthony Doerr// I read this book last year and it is a book that is hard to put down. It is a beautifully written book that will take you on an emotional journey.

The Last Mrs. Parrish, by Live Constantine// I personally haven’t read this book yet, but it is on my books to read list and I have heard so many great things about the story line.

Slightly South of Simple, by Kristy Woodson Harvey// I love Slightly South of Simple, the story centers around three sisters and their mother, and there is at least one character in the book that the reader can relate to. It is the perfect beach read or curl up under a cozy blanket read.

All the Missing Girls, by Megan Miranda// It took me a while to get into this book, but once I did I was hooked. If you have a friend out there who enjoys suspense thrillers this is definitely the book for them.

Harry Potter Illustrated Books// Need I say more?

Turtle All The Way Down, by John Green// I haven’t read this John Green book yet, but I love reading young adult books and have definitely read my fair share of John Green books. That given I feel pretty safe in saying that if you have a John Green or Young Adult book lover in your life then they will love this read!

Coco Chanel, by Megan Hess// I love all the illustrations that Megan Hess does and she did such a beautiful job incorporating her illustrations and the life of Coco Chanel. It really does make for a wonderful read and a great addition to any library or coffee table book collection.

Elizabeth The Queen: The Life of a Monder Monarch, by Sally Bedell Smith// I am a huge fan of Queen Elizabeth for the obvious reason and the more I learn about her the more I admire her and her accomplishments. This is definitely a great book for anyone who find Queen Elizabeth interesting and/or enjoys The Crown.

Jackie Style, by Pamela Keogh// Honestly, one of my favorite books I have read on Jackie Kennedy and I love how fashion is incorporate into this biography.
