Lately I have been loving how
some advertisements have been using iconic and recognizable actors from the old
Hollywood era. A few weeks ago I saw a CHANEL No. 5 commercial on television
and who else but Marilyn Monroe showed up in the commercial uttering those
infamous words CHANEL No. 5 in response to the question “What do you wear to
bed”. I love the mystery and stories that are associated with Marilyn Monroe,
and the fact that decades after she is gone she still possesses the ability to
captivate an audience. Below is the CHANEL No. 5 commercial.

DeleteI will never like Marilyn and will forever be team Jackie O becasue she was the other woman. :(

Jackie O was a wonderful woman with a great fashion sense, series of accomplishments, and is definitely someone to look up to. Although I am in total agreement that it is never a good thing to be the "other woman" if you read more about the JFK and Jackie, Marilyn was not the only other woman. I think Marilyn never really meant any harm to anything or anyone, I think her desire to love and be loved just kinda of trumped everything else. Jackie O and Marilyn are both very fascinating to read up on if you ever get the chance!
