New Year's 2014 Goals

Over time the word “resolution” has become a little bit of a negative word/concept when it comes to making ones New Year’s Resolutions. Over the year it seems that most people and myself included have gone with the train of thought that New Year’s Resolutions are made to be broken. Lately I have seen other bloggers and pins on Pinterest who have made promises to themselves or goals for the year of 2014. Personally I really like the idea of making a promise or goal versus making a resolution; a promise/self-set goal makes the concept of a resolution more personable and self-invested. I made up a fill-in goal/promises to self sheet above, feel free to print it off and fill in the blanks! Check back a little later on to see what goals I have set for myself! What are some promises/goals you have made for yourself?

I hope every one is having a very happy and blessed New Year’s Day! May 2014 be the best year yet!

  2. I am with you on making goals instead of resolutions! It seems make it so much easier to reach monthly or yearly goals than resolutions!

  6. That is a great idea for a positive start to a new year! I, personally, have so many goals, mile markers, tasks for myself between school, work, and life that I like to start off the new year with a clean slate! But I think it is having goals that is the important thing, no matter how you set them!
