Who else
is in slight disbelief that it is already the first weekend of December!? I
have been excited about the holiday season since about the middle of
October - I’m pretty sure my excitement
can be slightly annoying around this time of year at time… But when there are
trees, decorations, gifts, merriment, and constant celebration ahead who can
help but be excited? Also, if you haven’t already started your present shopping
I have already published my Hostess with the Mostess, Stocking Stuffer, and
Gifts Under $50 Gift Guides, and I have a few more gift guides planned for the
next couple weeks, so be sure to keep an eye out!
This week
there are so many great links to share. Confession: I am a bit of a royal
watcher and am completely pumped that Harry and Meghan Markel are engaged!!
That news probably overshadows all other links, but I have come up with a few
good ones to share!
I
completely love this new post series that Carly over at ‘Carly The Prepster’
has started! This week’s spotlight is on Caroline Breland and she truly is a
fashion inspiration.
So…a few
weeks ago I needed a new hair dryer so I purchased one of the Christmas bonus
gifts because it was such a great deal and came with a few little extra things.
Anyhow, the Charcoal Shampoo and Conditioner was among those things; needless
to say I was a little leery of charcoal shampoo that is the color black. On one
of those days when I hadn’t washed my hair in almost 4 days and it was coated
in dry shampoo I decided to give Charcoal Shampoo a try because I have loved
everything else from the DryBar and let me just say this shampoo is amazing! My
hair has never felt so clean; everyone seriously needs a bottle of On The
Rocks!
I almost
feel embarrassed saying this, but until this week I wasn’t very familiar with
Meghan Markle, I think I may have seen her in a movie{s} before, but other than
that my knowledge was limited. On twitter this week one of the things that was
trending was Meghan Markle unknowingly becoming a women’s advocate at the age
of 11. Let me just say that since I have seen a couple of speeches of hers and
watched this old Nick News take I completely love her, she seems like such a
genuinely nice person!
Anything
that Ina Garten’s makes is guaranteed to taste ridiculously delicious and look
worthy enough to sit in the middle of a table.
This
Connecticut home at Christmas is incredible! Their holiday ornaments even
complement this homes blue and white décor; it is just breath taking.
Have a great Start in the new Week Lauren! kisses

DeleteAw, baby Megan Markle! I love seeing old videos of celebs, ha. And I'm guilty of too much Christmas cheer and royal watching too. No shame.

Glad to know I'm not alone in being guilty of too much Christmas cheer (if there is such a thing) and royal watching!
