Mary Poppins Returns

I just saw the teaser trailer for Mary Poppins Returns and I cannot wait to see this movie in December. When I was little, probably from the time I was three till the time I was six I would wake up every morning {way too early} and start the day off by watching Mary Poppins. I’m sure my parents loved this stage I went through, but honestly, does anyone ever really get tired of Julie Andrews?
The teaser trailer for the new one looks just as if not more so enchanting as the original Mary Poppins. Obviously, Julie Andrew isn’t playing Mary Poppins in the new version, but Emily Blunt looks like she will be able to follow in her footsteps flawlessly.
The new version looks like it has three siblings in the movie – I’m hoping that they are either Jane or Michael’s children. I love that Disney was able to recognize the fact that the original Mary Poppins is a movie that just can’t be duplicated, and it appears that they have put a fresh spin on the story instead. I can’t wait to see the new coat of Disney magic that has been sprinkled on top of such a classic story, that more than likely will be viewed by generations of children, young and old.
