The Perfect Prom Dress

When I was in high school one of my most favorite part of any dance was finding the right dress. Honestly, even now my favorite part of any event is the hunt for just the right dress. There’s nothing like trying on at least 10 beautiful dresses to finally get to that one seemingly simple dress that hangs perfectly, the color could not compliment you complexion any better, and the detailing couldn’t be any more stunning; it’s the dress that makes you feel transformed into a high society movie star of years ago and you just could not imagine wearing any other dress than that one.

Secretly, I wish there was an event that fell around this time of year just so I could get swept away with the beautiful gowns, elegant lines, and the new trends of the season. Even though I am well past the age of being able to attend a prom I always enjoy seeing the prom goers out at restaurants in April and May with a dress picked out specifically for the evening and all the young men clad in tuxes. They all have such fresh look on their face and a gleam of hope in their eyes. Who would have ever guessed that a night spent in a transformed gym or a hotel ballroom would become some a high point memory of high school.

Obviously, for a night that will be remembered for years to come, an equally beautiful top prom dress is a must.
