My Night Time Routine

It took me a while to actually get into a nighttime routine, but once I did I could tell such a difference. I think getting into a routine that works for you helps you to unwind, relax, and get in the frame of mind to go to bed.

For my night time routine…

Shower// taking a long hot shower either after an end of the day workout or just a really long/hard day is one of the things a look forward to the most at night. I always feel refreshed and like I have washed the dust from day off of me.

Cream// When I turned 25 I went through a little quarter life crises and started using anti-aging cream. I honestly don’t know if anti-aging creams actually work, but I figure it can’t hurt, and as an added bonus they are so moisturizing; goodbye dry winter skin! This and This are my favorite facial creams to use at night.

Get in Bed// Is there any better feeling than sinking into a fluffy bed and snuggle under the sheets?

Watch Netflix & E-mail// I usually spend an hour so watching something on Netflixs while I organize emails and different things for the next day

Read// I make a point to put my computer, phone, and electronics, away at least 30 minutes before I go to bed. For awhile I got out of the habit of reading before I went to sleep and I could tell such a difference – why is it so easy to lose time when you’re playing around on the internet and social media… Reading seems to be more relaxing for me and it helps me to unwind better, currently I am reading This book.
