My Top 5 Favorite Movies

I don’t know what the weather is like where you all live, but in the South, sometimes it can just get so hot that the only two things to really do are…spend time by a body of water or just hide out from the heat and have a summer movie marathon.

I saw a post similar to this one a few months ago and it got me think that if I could only watch 5 movies what would they be… Obviously, I like more than just 5 movies, but I thought it would be fun to share a top 5 list!
You’ve Go Mail// I first saw this movie when I was 12, and You’ve Got Mail is the first rom-com that I actually and truly appreciated. I just fell in love with all the fashion {so 90s…}, New York in the Fall, and the clever dialog. So clearly this is a clear #1 movie favorite for me.

Elf// I know, I know…Elf is a Christmas movie, but I honestly watch it all year round. It is just such and instant movie classic that always puts me in a good mood.

The Age of Adaline// Okay, so if I had to pick between The Age of Adaline and You’ve Got Mail I honestly don’t know which one I would pick. Confession, I am kind of a hopeless romantic and this movie has all the elements that I love. Not to mention, the fashion in this movie is on point.

Rear Window// So...I was a little bit of a weird kid growing up, and instead of wanting to be a Disney princess when I was little I wanted to be Grace Kelly… I loved her movies and how she spoke. Needless to say I have seen a good number of Grace Kelly movies, but Rear Window is my favorite. Her and Jimmy Kelly make such a great acting team and I love the element of mystery that keeps you a little bit on the edge of your seat.

White Christmas// Yes, another Christmas movie, but lets be honest…who can resist a good vintage Christmas where singing and dancing is involved? Plus, sometimes it is nice to take a little metal vacation to a cooler season when it’s 100 degrees plus outside.
