Sea Breeze And Jingle Bell Memories With James Avery

I am a shamelessly sentimental person. I have letters, invitations, and announcements, tied up with a white ribbon like someone from the 1950s, old concert tickets, playbills, and so on. I love the idea of being able look at something so seemingly normal, yet it has the ability to either transport you back to a specific time in life, act as a reminder of how far you’ve come, motivate you, remind you of something you may have forgotten about yourself, or just simply bring a smile to your face. This is the reason I love James Avery jewelry so much – it has the ability to evoke everything I just mentioned above in a very beautiful way. They are a jewelry line that tells your story.
Ever since I can remember, the beach and Christmas have always been my two most favorite things; both of which contain so many great memories for me. If you follow my Instagram account, then you are well aware of the fact that the beach is my happy place. Life instantly becomes simpler, the days are a little longer, and all my worries and problems in life seem to dissipate and are so easily solvable.

Then there is the Christmas season; where to start… I could honestly give Buddy the Elf and Clark Griswold a run for their money. Confession: I left my bedroom Christmas tree up till the end of March, but the ornaments are pink and white, and spring was a little late to arrive this year, so that makes it okay, right? In all seriousness though, the reason I love Christmas so much to the point of leaving a Christmas tree up till March isn’t for the decorations, sparkle, or twinkle lights; it’s for all the memories hidden beneath every Christmas ornament, tradition, and even the seasonal fragrances of cookies and pine needles wafting through the house.
Once a year, at the end of November, my two favorite things are able to come together! In my family it is a tradition to celebrate Thanksgiving at the beach. I am sure you can probably imagine my excitement level when the beach Christmas ornaments start to go up around a storybook-like beach town.

I love being able to look down at my James Avery charm bracelet, seeing my sand dollar and jingle bell charms, and instantly be reminded of Thanksgiving at the beach, the first pink Christmas ornament my great-grandmother gave me that started my pink and white Christmas tree, and that life is not always as complicated as it first might appear to be. It’s a reminder of all things that are important in life.
James Avery is having a very ‘charming’ special going on now through May 29. With the purchase of any two James Avery charms you will receive a free charm necklace or bracelet {up to a $70 value} for free. Is it just me or does this possibly sound like the perfect Mother’s Day gift!? I honestly cannot say enough great things about this company  and the quality of their product.

  2. I’m a sentimental person too. A good chunk of my closet is taken up with photos and letters and old cards. I love charm bracelets as a way to look back in wonderful memories, both what the charm means and when I received it. These James Avery ones are so pretty, thank you for sharing!
    Happy Friday,
