I have always loved reading
books! If I’m ever having a bad day, just want to escape from everyday life,
hear about something new, or am just in the mood for a good read, there is no
other quick fix like a book. I have to say, I enjoy the convenience of ordering
books from Amazon but it isn’t the same as getting to wander around in a
bookstore and get lost in everything in there for a while. I’m always keeping
my eye out for a good bookstore and, here in Nashville, TN, is one of the coziest
bookshops around! Parnassus Books reminds me of the Shoppe Around the
Corner from the movie You’ve Got Mail.
Parnassus always has something going on from children’s story hour to book signings.
I love the atmosphere they have created as a small bookstore and the large
variety of books they carry; there is truly something there for everyone!
