Blueberry Mojito Mocktail With Treo Organic Birch Water

With spring in the air I am constantly on the search for the next great thirst quenching drink. I recently came into contact with Treo Organic Birch Water Infusion, and I absolutely love their product. Treo Organic Birch Water is actually taped from birch trees in Vermont; I know, it took me a minute too to wrap my head around the fact that water was harvested from trees and that Vermont is known for something more than amazing syrup and snow. Treo is a naturally sweeten drink {aka only sweetened by Mother Nature}, replaces vital nutrients, and is only a 10 calorie drink.
During the summer months I love cooing down with a fun mixed drink or a mocktail. Treo is such a fantastic drink to incorporate into a mocktail or cocktail recipe, especially with its natural sweetness. Treo comes in four tasty flavors: strawberry, blueberry, coconut pineapple, and peach mango. I love raspberries and blueberries during the  summer and since this is the South I thought it would be fun to make a blueberry mojito mocktail using the Treo blueberry drink and share the recipe with you all!

Ingredients:
1 bottle of Treo Organic Birch Water Infusion
¼ cup blueberries
½ tablespoon sugar {1 tablespoon if you prefer your drinks a little on the sweet side}
4 mint leaves
1 lime wedge
ginger ale
crushed ice
{serving size 2}
Directions:
In a large measuring cup add blueberries, lime wedge, mint leaves, and sugar. Muddle the ingredients and discard lime wedge after you finish muddling.

Once muddling is complete add a 50:50 ration of gingerale and Treo blueberry organic birch water into the muddled mix of blueberry, lime, sugar, and mint leaves. Give the mixture a stir with a large spoon. Once drink is well mixed, divide contents into two glasses and top off with ice and ginger ale. Drink and Enjoy!

Tip: if you don’t have a muddler, the handle end of an ice scoop or wooden spoon will do.

Optional: To add a little extra pop, garnish drink with a lime wedge and/or mint leaf
