FAVORITE SHOWS TO REVISIT ON NETFLIX
Usually before I nod off to dream land I read a book for about 30 minutes to an hour just as a way to unwind and start to relax. However, after a long day sometimes it is nice to slip into a cozy bed, turn the lights off, and mindlessly watch a TV show or two.
I have heard that Netflix has some outstanding Netflix original shows and some wonderful documentaries available on the site, but I am not on Netflix a large amount and haven’t had the chance/made the effort to explore all Netflix has to offer. I have gotten into the habit of looking up shows that I used to love but are no longer on TV.
Gilmore Girls// Who else is excessively excited about the continuation of Gilmore Girls come to Netflix in the very near future? I started watching this show when I was 13 and it ran till my sophomore year of college. When the show ended I was honestly stumped by what to do on a Tuesday night at 7:00.
It is almost impossible not to fall in love with the mother-daughter, the town of Star Hallow, and the ever dreaded but very entertaining Friday night dinners with the grandparents.
New Girl// I realize that this show is still alive and well on actual TV, but I never really got into New Girl till after it had already been on for a few years. It is such a fun and light hearted humor show and I so enjoy watching the early episodes that I missed when the show first made its debut.
Gossip Girl// Honestly, need I say more other than the title of the show… This is my favorite and only show that I will actually sit down and binge watch. Upper class New York City high school and later college age socialites and wanna be socialites who face some very interesting situation, drama, and life obstacles, all the while be blogged about by the mysterious gossip girl.
Mad Men// aka my new Netflix addiction. I never had a chance to watch Mad Men when it was on actually TV, plus I never have been a big TV person. I have only watched a few episodes so far, but I am absolutely loving this show! The time period and the story lines are right up my alley and I love the little twist that each show seems to bring to the table.
