The Intern

As I admitted a few weeks ago, I kind of dread going out on New Year’s Eve… Nashville has grown so much in the past few years {which is great} and everywhere is so crowded. Last time I went out out on New Year’s the place I was at was so crowded my nose started bleeding and an extremely creepy guy tried to kiss and midnight, but luckily he failed. Don’t get me wrong, I love to have fun, but I will take a pass on uncomfortably crowded places and unwanted men. Dinner with friends or staying in to watch a movie is much more my speed on NYE.

Call me boring if you want, but this year for NYE I opted to get take out sushi and watch The Intern. This movie is definitely in my top 4 movies for 2015 {incase you are wondering what the other top 3 movies are… Cinderella, The Woman in Gold, and The Age of Adaline}. Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how perfect Anne Hathaway’s hair is in this movie – the length of her hair in this movie is so perfect for the shape of her face and very much complemented her outfits in the movie.

Ben Whittaker soon discovers that retirement is not all it is cracked to be. After taking many trips and adopting new hobbies he still fells the sense that something is missing. Once he discovers there’s an opportunity to become a senior intern for an online fashion site he is all over it, and more than ready to get back in the game. Jules Ostin, founder of the online fashion shop, is less than thrilled at the idea of having a senior intern. As the movie progresses Ben and Jules form a relationship, leaving Ben to become Jules’ intern/best friend.
