Bay Windows

{Via}
In my head I have my dream house pictured in my head. The exterior would be a white two-story house with dark green shutters, a flagstone sidewalk leading up to a red front door complete with an antique door knocker. I don’t have the interior of the house as well planed out as the exterior, but I know I would like it to have a white kitchen with white marble counters and window pane cabinets, a library with floor to ceiling bookshelves would be a must, a walk-in closet, and a big story-book like bay window.

Every time I am in a house that has a really elegant old-school bay window it just seems to add a bit of a charm and cozy feeling about that room. It is always so easy to envision someone seated in a bay window on a rainy day enjoying a good book and occasionally looking out the window maybe daydreaming. Below are a few beautiful bay window inspirations I have come across on Pinterest.

  11. All new windows will insulate better than your old single pane windows - but green replacement windows are often double and triple pain with special coatings and gas filled interiors that also insulate against noise. With new green windows there's far less noise transfer from the outside world into your home. Whether it kids that play nearby, a barking dog in the neighborhood or the chorus of birds you can easily shut out the noise with quality green replacement windows. new windows dallas
