Staying Warm The Stylish Way

{Via}
I recently found out that where I live {Nashville, TN} it is going to be 8°F Sunday night, 10°F Monday for the high and 3°F for the low, but hold on to your socks because Tuesday a heat wave is coming…it is going to be a blistering 21°F.  As y’all know this is the South and for me 40°F is plenty cold enough, I don’t know if I’m going to be able to handle this cold weather! I’m sure everyone who lives up North is going to laugh at the next I am going to write, but…A lot of schools have already closed for Monday and Tuesday due to the unusual cold tempters predicted; and no, I am not joking, if you don’t believe me Google school closings in Nashville, TN. The upside to the cold weather though is we actually have a chance of snow and I have my fingers crossed that the week will start off looking like a winter wonderland!

One of my favorite things to do on a cold day is to cozy up with a warm blanket next to a fire, read a book, and just relax, Unfortunately since all this cold weather is arriving at the start of the week instead of the weekend it might not be possible to stay in doors all day. In my opinion just because it is cold outside doesn’t mean you can’t look stylish in some fun winter gear! So whether you are staying inside or having to venture outside, below are some winter accessories that will help to keep you nice and warm!

  7. Hey Lauren, we're already getting out the frost cloth for our plants as we expect a hard freeze also, but not as low as you will get. Yep, this is the south and everything closes down when it gets really cold. I'm still in Vail, coming home tomorrow, so I'll get the worst of it for sure. Somehow, in Colorado when you're having fun it doesn't seem that cold at all. xx's

  17. It was -8 when we went to the movies last night - GROSS. When it's this cold I basically don't leave the house and wear cozy clothes all the time. I'm just glad school is not in session and I don't have to dress up (I find dressing for work and being warm very challenging!). Stock up on hot cocoa!
