Favorite Instagram Moments Of 2013

So I might be a little late to the party but lately I have really gotten into Instagram. Before I started my blog I did not have an Instagram, personal or otherwise {shameful, I know}. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and when I first started an Instagram account I had that horrible feeling of “I don’t know what I’m doing” and that nagging feeling of “my Instagram pictures don’t look very nice. Needless to say I was a bit frustrated with my Instagram account for the better part of 2013, but I have come to enjoy it, dare I say I might have even grown to love it. Towards the end of 2013 I started to get the hang of Instagram and view it as a little square of art. At the current moment I love Instagram almost as much as Pinterest, now that is saying something! It is fascinating how a picture can capture and preserve a moment so perfectly and even captures things you didn’t even know were happening. Below are some of my favorite Instagram photos from this past year.

      Thanks! Most the watch and bow bracelet is from Kate Spade and the pearl one is from Tiffany's.

    I love Instagram, but I totally know the feeling! When I started blogging I didn't use any social media a whole lot, so it has been hard getting into posting something everyday; however, after doing it for a while it has become really fun!

      I was the same way, before I started my blog the only form of social media I really used was Facebook, but I caught onto Pinterest and Twitter pretty fast took me a while to get into Instagram though... But now I love it!

    I've heard of instagram! To busy typing away on my blog to get into it though. I've always found it hard to take pictures of the moment, even if I have my camera on me XD I love the images. Nice blog! I found you through the 'That's Zoe' blog, she recommended you. Happy New Year =]

    I always LOVE your instagram post! They look so bright and professional! Do you use any type of app to edit your pictures before posting them?

      I just use my iPhone to take the pictures, but if I know I am taking a picture of something to post on Instagram under my photo options I set the camera to take it as a square image so I don't have to crop it later on. The only photo app I have really used so far is Instasize.

      Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment! I just use the camera that is on my iPhone and I usually play around with the filters in Instagram. When I take a picture that I know I'm going to use on Instagram I set the camera to take the picture as a square image so I don't have to crop it later on.

    Love these pictures, it's so fun to see a recap of the year through photos. Personally I love Instagram (link on my blog), and I love the apps VSCOcam, Afterlight, and Squareready. Definitely check them out if you haven't already :)

    You should try Instagram again! I think the trick is you just have to get comfortable with it and figure out how to take pictures that look good on Instagram.
