Beauty New Years Resolutions Tag

Last week Lori over at Lori’s Creative Expressions tagged me in her Beauty New Years Resolutions Tag. I would like to give a special thanks to Lori for including me in this tag! 

1.             What is a technique you’ve improved on during the past year? Using my 3-day Bender, it is amazing
2.            What was your overall most used makeup product last year? Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner
3.            What brand would you like to try this year? I really love all the make up products that I use but I guess if I had to branch out and try a new brand I would give YSL a try
4.            Are there any products you’d like to use up this year? I can’t think of any off the top of my head…I just replaced most of my makeup
5.            Favorite Winter makeup and outfit? My favorite winter makeup is: Stila eye liner, Chanel lip gloss, Two-Faced Sweetheart blush, Maybelline mascara, and Trish McEvoy eye shadow. My favorite winter outfit is: sweater, leggings, boots
6.            What is one bad makeup habit that you want to break this year? Washing my makeup brushes more often.
7.             Favorite clothing to keep warm in the winter? My Patagonia Better Sweater Coat
8.            A fellow blogger you’ve been loving? Two of my favorite blogs are the College Prepster and A Glamorous Little Project
9.            What activity are you going to start this year? Exercise on a regular basis
10.         Describe the year 2013 in 3 words. Growth, Beautiful, Perspective

      Stila is a great eyeliner, it is really easy to put on and it stays on!

    Do you enjoy your 3 Day Bender? (Is it the one from Dry Bar?) I have been looking at these past few months and have seriously been thinking about investing. I have heard both good and bad things about peoples experience with it, and was wondering what your opinion was.

      Yes, it the Dry Bar 3 Day Bender, and I really like it! It honestly took me a few times before I got the hang of it because if is different from a normal curling iron, but once you get the hang of it it's so much easier and it curls a lot better then a normal curling iron! The trick I found to using it is it works better if you just plug it up and start using it right away because it literally takes five seconds for it to heat up and hold it where the barrel is pointing down and the handle is pointing upwards so your hair won't get tangled up in the barrel.
