Southern Decor

Down South there are beautiful old houses that have seen wars, hard times, scandal, deals, love stories, weddings, generations of family, and so much more. The incredible stories these houses could tell if only the walls could talk. I love how an old house can stand so stoic and elegant, with gorgeous greenery and landscaping surrounding an equally gorgeous house. Whenever you go into a Southern home more times then not you will see blue & white dishes, silver, wallpaper with beautiful designs, fresh flowers, breathtaking mirrors, lovely chandeliers, and family photos, just to name a few traditional Southern home décor. I created a décor collage on Polyvore {my first} of a few simply southern home décor items. Enjoy!

  1. I love that couch and the flower vase! They are so perfect! And, I totally agree on the house idea. I think it is so nice to see all the history a house has! This summer my family and I went to Newport and saw the Breakers Estate and it had so much great history to it :)
