I love note cards and
stationary, especially embossed note cards. It’s always nice to have a set of
cards with a decorative element close by to jot something down on. It is also
very easy to make your own embossed note cards, plus saves you some extra
spending money in the long run if you constantly use them like I do. A little embossment and a
decorative element can add a touch of elegance to any note! Here is a
step-by-step on how to make your very own embossed note cards!
Items Needed:
Stamp {Click Here}
Ink Pad {Click Here}
Embossing Powder

Note Cards – you can
either buy a set of plain note cards or cut normal paper down to note card size
{Click Here}
Heat Tool {Click Here}
Step 1: Press stamp
in to ink pad, make sure stamp is evenly covered in ink
Step 2: Line stamp up
on paper and firmly press down then lift back up
Step 3: Sprinkle
embossing powder over the freshly wet ink; make sure wet ink is fully cover by
embossing powder
Step 4: Shake off
left over embossing powder. I usually shake my embossing powder on to an index
card so I can reuse it or pour it back in its container. I also place saran
warp down over the area I am going to work on to make for an easy clean up!
Step 5: Place Heat
Tool over embossing powder for a few seconds. The Heat Tool will make the
powder rise and add a little shimmer and depth.
The Finished Product:
A Beautiful Embossed Note Card!
What a great idea! And the result is so pretty :)
