This time of year there always seems to be some event going on, for charities, to black ties, to weddings, and sometimes the just because events. Call me old-fashioned, but this time of year I prefer a long dress for anything, I don’t know why, but for some reason I just feel like for winter and early spring events long dresses just seem more glamorous and elegant in my mind. Plus, I kind of love the fact that long formals are now referred to as maxi dresses; I mean let’s face facts, who doesn’t love a well constructed maxi dress that is bound to make the right statement!?
