5 Simple Ways To Take Care of Yourself

It always seems like such a challenge to carve out a little time to just take care of yourself. Half of the time I let myself get way too run down, and I just become so spacey when it comes to doing anything. Truthfully in the long, setting a little time aside a day to do something for yourself make you more productive and better able to take on certain situations and tasks.

The thing that is the hardest for me is watching Netflix before I go to bed and checking email while I do it. It really does make going to bed on time pretty much impossible. Below are five simple ways to take care of yourself.
Exercise// It truly is amazing how much of a difference working out can make. My mind is always so much more clear after, not to mention I love the results.

Read// There is something about reading an actually book and turning a page that is just so relaxing. I love how after a long day you can just get lost in a great book and be transported to a different world.

Journal// I have gotten into journaling this year and I absolutely love it! There is something therapeutic about the process, especially after a hard day, It is just a great way to go back and reflect.

Weekend Trip// Sometimes you just need to get away and recharge your batteries. Even if it’s just a staycation. I feel like a little trip of any sorts always hits spot. I usually come back rested and with a clear mind. 

Phones and Computer// If I get on my phone or computer after I have showered at night I will be up another w hours before I am a blt to go to sleep. One thing always seems to lead to another, and I some point it becomes hard to break away from technology. But I always feel better when I set thing to the side
