Girl Online On Tour

I enjoy a good biography, memoir, great/classic piece of fiction as much, if not more, than the next person; how ever, every now and then I like to indulge myself in a guilty pleasure. I think Girl Online and the follow up book Girl Online On Tour are fantastically written books, but for myself personally, they are definitely my guilty pleasure reads.

Girl Online On Tour is by the popular YouTuber Zoe Sugg {aka Zoella}. I have to say I am a fan of Zoe Sugg’s YouTube channel. Her makeup tutorials are so spot on and flawless – if I can ever put my eyeliner on as well as Zoella I would sadly feel like the most accomplished person, probably.

In the sequel to Girl Online, Penny Porter had no choice but to set her popular blog, Girl Online, to private after all the embarrassment and the lack of privacy that the exposure of her blog coast her and Noah earlier in the school year. Penny joins her rock-star boyfriend, Noah, on his European tour and she simply cannot wait to watch him play different venues and explore each city as they tour.

It soon becomes clear that between Noah’s jam-packed schedule, his not so welcoming band mates, and threating emails from jealous fans that this tour is not going to be what Penny had in mind at all. She can’t help but miss her family, best friend Elliot, and having her blog public. She begins to feel like she is losing herself in Noah’s music career and reevaluates her life, relationship, balancing life on the road, and exactly what it will cost her.

Girl Online On Tour is the perfect read to get lost in over a weekend.

  1. I love Zoe's youtube channel, but didn't think I wanted to read her books! Even though it might end up being a guilty pleasure, I feel like I need to give it a shot.
