Beach Adventures

I am writing this post mainly to apologize for the lack of post yesterday and the delayed one today. I will be blogging from the beach for a while, {not going to lie, it’s a pretty great place to be in November} unfortunately the downside to such a lovely place to visit is the unreliable Internet connection and the lack of phone service for that matter. The view more than makes up for those two problems, however my posting schedule may not be as consistent as it usually is.

I arrived last night and the weather has been absolutely perfect so far! The flight was a bit eventful though. After boarding a plane that was running 30 minutes behind its time the flight attendant announced that one of the engines wasn’t working and they would be jump starting it from the ground – who ever heard of such a thing? Needless to say I was a little uneasy, oh, the plane also took off at a higher speed than usual to keep the engine that was jump-started going. By the time the plane was about to take off my palms were sweating, I said a few Hail Marys and hoped that it would be a quick flight since the pilot was having trouble keeping the plane level due to the engine trouble. Don’t get me wrong I usually enjoy flying and seeing the view out the window but I have never been so relived to get off a plane.

Fortunately today was stunning beautiful – the weather was warm enough to layout on the beach, go for a walk, and enjoy the beautiful horizon and the ridiculously clear water. The perfect weather and the beautifully clear water made a somewhat stressful flight all worth it. Again, I apologize in advanced for my posts not being posted as regularly as usually, but I will be sure to do a post daily, internet service permitting.
