Coco & Simone Red Cowl Neck Sweater

The weather in Nashville has gotten quite cold, quite fast. I kid you not, last Monday I wore a pair of shorts and by Friday I was bundled up in a sweater, scarf and a coat. It was a much welcome treat to receive the beautiful Winter Wonderland Red Cowl Neck Sweater Tunic from Coco & Simone over the weekend, and it arrived just in time for a week that has called for a sweater everyday. Confession: I may or may not have wore this sweater twice already… I can’t get over how perfect the shade of red is.
One thing I really like about this sweater and most of the other items on the Coco &Simone website is that they can be easily dressed up or down. I chose to style the Coco & Simone Cowl Neck Sweater on the more casual side for this post, but I definitely have plans to dress it up during the holiday day season; the red color of it is just too perfect not to wear to a holiday party.
I am always a little apprehensive about ordering an item from a website the very first time because of sizing issues. I ordered a small in the sweater and it fits perfectly, plus it is super comfortable.

I love the fact that this sweater is flowy yet the cowl neck adds a level of sophistication to the overall look of the sweater. It would look great cinched at the waist with a belt for occasions when you might need to be a bit more dressed up. Since I styled it for the casual everyday I chose to pair it with a pair of black pixie pants, black boots, and of course sunglasses, because what daytime outfit is complete without a pair sunnies? This sweater has quickly moved to the top of my list of favorite sweater I have on hand.

Be sure to check out the Coco & Simone website {click here} to browse their beautiful collection. P.S. they have a herringbone puffer vest that looks just like the one from J. Crew, but at a better price, Like I said they have some really great items!

  1. Great sweater. It is a perfect shade of red and pairing it with all black looks amazing.

I'm going thru the same bizarre cool down in my part of the world too.

    Great look, thanks for sharing.
