My
favorite time period in history would hands down have to be the 1920s – 1960s.
There was just so much going on in terms of history and society and the way
people lived their day-to-day life changed so much in such a short amount of
time because of positive progression, and not to mention I love the style of
clothing around this time and the pride people seemed to take in themselves.
It only
makes sense that in turn I love old movies. They are the perfect escape from
reality, especially after a long or not so great day. At least for me I always
feel light hearted and happy after watching an old Grace Kelly, Marilyn Monroe,
and of course one of Audrey Hepburn’s films.
Audrey
Hepburn and Breakfast at Tiffany’s movies seem to be the first thing that comes
to mind when people generally think of older movies. On one of the movie
networks recently they have been playing a good amount of old Audrey Hepburn
and Marilyn Monroe movies, which I have completely been loving. So I thought it
might be fun to share my top three all time favorite Audrey movies…
Breakfast At Tiffany’s
How To Steal A Million
Sabrina
Three great choices of Audrey Hepburn movies! I love them too - but I'm a sucker for older movies anyways!
ReplyDeleteMy three favorites of hers are Roman Holiday, Sabrina and Funny Face.
I just watched funny face the other night! And I am a fan of Roman Holiday as well :)
DeleteLove All Three of those Movies, too, Lauren!!!
ReplyDelete'Breakfast at Tiffany's' is also my favorite Audrey Hepburn movie!
Audrey is so lovely in them all... plus, I adore her stunning fashions in 'My Fair Lady.' She was a true fashion icon!
