Over the
years I have turned into a bit of a foodie…a good piece of chocolate really can
turn the whole day around. As Nashville has grown over the years it has bought
with it better shopping and better restaurants. For today’s post I thought it
would be fun to share with you my favorite breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner
spots around town.
The Perch
is a cute little French restaurant nestled in the heart of Green Hills {they
also have a few other locations}. Let me tell you their hot chocolate is heads
and shoulders above Starbucks. This restaurant offers omelets, eggs, and crepes
all day long and makes for a perfect place to meet for breakfast or lunch.
Josephine
is a farm to table type restaurant that offers seasonal menus. I am a bit of a
brunch fanatic and I have to say out of all the restaurants I have been to in
Nashville I think Josephine’s brunch is the best! I highly recommend their
waffle and the cinnamon sugar doughnuts.
I realize
Bartaco is a chain restaurant but I love it not the less. Their outside seating
makes it the perfect lunch place to spend a spring afternoon. In my book there
is never such a thing as too many tacos and their guacamole is amazing!
Last but
not lest dinner at 5th & Taylor. This is a reasonably new
restaurant that popped up in the Germantown area last summer. It’s another farm
to table restaurant {which I love} that also offer seasonal menus. To be 100%
truthful their food is better at times than others, but the atmosphere is the
selling point for me.
I definitely need to go to Nashville ! xo K
