Kitchen Shelving

This past weekend I walked through the Nashville Symphony Showhouse and it was simply stunning. My favorite room however, was the kitchen…be still my heart. The lighting, countertops, white cabinets, glass shelving, use of mirror, an inviting island to read the morning newspaper; this kitchen is basically the epitome of perfect as far as kitchens go.

I have already posted the picture of the showhouse kitchen to all my social media sites and have showed the picture to multiple people purely because it is such a stunning kitchen. The other day I shared the picture with a friend and they preferred open shelving to glass shelves. I will admit in the right kitchen I really like open shelving, but for the above kitchen the glass shelves with the mirror backing, and glass cabinets goes so perfectly. Anyhow, after my friend mentioned open shelving I hopped on Pinterest {surprise, surprise} just to see all the different cabinet options, and the possibilities are pretty much endless.

I will admit I gravitate towards interiors that are light and airy, but anyhow I thought I would share a few of my favorite kitchen/kitchen shelving finds with you. Not completely off topic but the many ways you can organize a kitchen drawer is a little insane – definitely work looking up, especially if you are a fellow neat freak.

  2. I think it's important to have a bright white kitchen to give more light when you're cooking. These photos are beautiful.
