The Little White Dress

There is the infamous little black dress, otherwise know as LBD, so why not the little white dress? I feel pretty confidant that Coco Chanel would approve of a little white dress, or better yet, and LWD! Summer is the season for a little white dress to shine – am I right or am I right? Don’t get me wrong I will forever love a classic little black dress, truth be told I have quite a few…

I tend to gravitate towards lighter colors once the weather starts to warm up a bit. By the time the winter season is close to being over I am so tired of looking at different shades of grey and black. It is time to break out the whites and bring on some color!

Just as a little black dress is perfect for an occasion the same holds true for a little white dress, with one exception…it is probably not a wise move to wear a stark white dress to a wedding… other than that you are in the clear. Whether you are eating lunch outside or heading to a function here are a few of my favorite little whiter dresses for this spring/summer season.

    A little white dress is the perfect summer accessory, especially when I have a tan. I currently have my eye on one from J Crew Factory that I'm patiently waiting to buy.

    I love all of these, but the top on is my favorite. I love the Lauren James dress, but honestly, I hate not being able to wear a bra!

    I love them all but the ivory Go Go dress has to be my favorite! I have had that dress in the fuchsia color on my wish list for the longest time.
