Links I'm Loving

I know I haven’t been that great about posting at a regular time, posting, interacting, and just blogging in general. I feel like the summer has just flown by and that it is like a kite I can’t quite hold on to. Does anyone else feel this way? I honestly wish I could hit a pause button sometimes.

I don’t think I have mentioned this on the blog, but at the start of the summer my family’s yorkie, Coco, passed away unexpectedly, and truth be told, I felt like a family member passed away. It caught me a little off guard and I feel behind on my emails and blog work, and am currently working my way to being back on top of everything {which, I admit is a bit of a challenge… I apologize to those of you in advance who have sent me emails and DMs that I haven’t had a chance to answer yet.}. Good or bad, time drags you on, and into new phases of life, and like luckily with the bad usually comes a lot of good. I’ve been able to spend a lot of time at the beach this summer, read a few books {keep an eye out for some book reviews coming soon}, and my family just recently got a new little furry member.

I am currently in the process of setting up a publishing calendar to keep me on track with my blog, and recently I have started making myself do at least three hours of emails a day, so hopefully {fingers crossed} I will be back on track fairly soon. But for now, here are a few links that I am currently loving!
I recently worked with Gant on an Instagram post, and before I come into contact with them I completely forgot about this brand. I feel like Gant has been around forever and they are just one of those fantastic clothing companies that you can go to for closet staples galore. I have to admit that I love wearing their oxford shirts {pictured above} with either fitted white jeans or pixie pants, not only because it’s a flattering look, but also because it make me feel slightly like a cross between Grace Kelly and Jackie Kennedy. Oh! By the way, did I mention that you can get 20% off your next Gant purchase with code LAURENK20

Okay, hold onto your sets…Orange is the New Black just released its sixth season on Netflix!!! Since Season 5 ended in a way that could wrap up their series I was a little worried there would be no season 6, so I am sure you can imagine how excited I was when Orange is the New Black popped up in my que!

I cannot believe that I just found out about Wikibuy – it is kind of amazing! It is kind of like an amazon, but more geared towards helping shoppers find the best deals out there. This website has pretty much anything and everything you could want – check it out; it is awesome!

I found this dress on the Tuckernuck website back in June, when it was on back order, and I did not receive it till after the first week of July, but it was completely worth the wait. For starters it’s blue {I mean…who can resist a blue dress?} and it can be dressed up or down. In a nutshell, it’s the perfect summer dress.

Could the time of this article be any more perfect. Read it – it’s a game changer.

I know some of you might disapprove of this next comment, but I am not a big Amy Schumer fan, at all. I know she is trying to pave new paths for women, but in the process of doing so I feel like she doesn’t always put women in the best lighting. That said, I absolutely loved I Feel Pretty! The overall message of the movie is just so spot on – your attitude, outlook, and the pride you take in yourself makes a huge difference in how life unfolds. I feel Pretty will definitely join the ranks of The Parent Trap, Mean Girls, and 13 Going on 30.
