I have
always looked at the New Year as a fresh start, a new adventure, a chance to
improve on yourself and different aspects in your life, another chance to chase
after your dreams, set things right, change what needs to be changed, welcome
the unknown, embrace what makes you happy, and so much more. Brad Paisley could
not have said it more perfectly when he said, “Tomorrow is the first blank page
of a 365 page book. Write a good one.” I for one am glad to close the book on
2016 and open up to the fresh, crisp new page of 2017.
We are
only three days into the New Year and I can already tell that this year is
going to be a good one. For some reason there was just something in the air
that made 2016 a little rocky for almost everyone I know. Being the eternal
optimist I am, in retrospect, I view 2016 as being a year of growing, change,
and reflection – wanted or not. In my gut I feel like 2017 is going to be a
year of good change, opportunity, growth, and around just a lighter, happier
feel floating around in the air.
I always
do a post on what my New Year’s goals/resolutions are, and I 100% intend to set
that post live very soon, once I settle on and fine tune my New Year’s goals. I
will say that most of my goals are blog related, future plans, and personal.
I would
love to hear your take on 2016/2017 and what your New Year’s resolutions are!
