Lilly For Target Look Book

I have to admit I have mixed emotions about Lilly Pulitzer being at Target. It is such a great brand that has for the most part stood on its own for decades. On one side I think that it is awesome that Lilly is going to be at Target, because target is pretty amazing on its own and it will be nice to have a less expensive version of the Lilly Pulitzer clothing, accessories, and home goods. On the other side I feel like it takes a little something away from the Lilly Pulitzer brand – question of the hour: If Lilly were still alive would she allow her company to team up with Target to create a Lilly for Target line?

On the whole I am actually pretty excited about the Lilly Pulitzer and Target partnership. Lilly patterns are always so cute and classic so I am inclined to think this will be a great line. I for one will definitely be buying some Lilly for Target beach towels and maybe a few other things…

Whatever your stance is on Lilly being in Target I think it is fair to say that we are all a little curious to see what these two amazing companies have come up with. Why wait till April 19 when there is a look book already available for viewing! Have to say the collection is pretty cute!

    I think all the Lilly x Target stuff looks great! :) It kinda bums me out seeing how some people have been reacting towards it. Like, "now all the poor people can wear Lilly, but Lilly is supposed to be for us CLASSY people!" Except having lots of money and wearing a cute dress doesn't make you classy!

      I think that it is great that there is a more affordable version of Lilly. I think it is just a little surprising that they chose to team up with target and go main stream, for lack of a better word. I just wonder if it will improve or hurt their brand integrity and how it will affect their marketing.

    I know I have mixed feelings about the clothing line - but I am SO excited for all the home goods! Regardless I'm sure the collection will sell out before I can even get my hands on it!
