Trending: Scallops

Everyone can breath a sigh of relief, scallops seem to be trending again this spring season, I for one am excited about this! I mean…can a casual spring outfit honestly get any better than a pair of scalloped shorts, whiter oxford, and some Jack Rogers? I have to admit I may have one too many scalloped shorts and skirts, but I don’t have a scalloped dress yet, may need to invest in one! In all seriousness I love the little extra something a scalloped hem can add a little extra something special to an otherwise ordinary piece of clothing; the navy dress in the above photo is a prime example. Below are a few of my favorite scalloped piece that are available this season. Fingers crossed that it will soon be warm enough to wear some of these adorable pieces!     You need to check out J Crew factory online! They have the scalloped dresses back in and they are perfect! I purchased the navy dress when it was on sale and it is great for work/cocktail hour/date nights! It's good thick material which is great because it will last forever. I'm dying to get the two other colors featured as well!

    Scallops worked into plainer fabrics are divine. I think pieces that incorporate scallops with print or lace are a bit too busy for my liking. The Bailey shirt and Fresh Air dress are more my style.
