Good Ole Fashioned Grits

Grits may stand for “Girls Raised In The South” but they are also a Southern favorite. With the weather being so unusually cold for this time of year I have been craving grits of some kind; nothing hits the spot quit like a bowl of grits! Above are a few grits recipes I have come across. Incase you are wondering…yes, it is perfectly acceptable to have grits at breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Here’s where to get the recipe. Click on the name of the dish to be directed to the website where you can find the recipe.
1.             Cheesy Shrimp on Grits Toast
2.            Sausage and Cheese Grits Casserole
3.            Baked Eggs and Grits

  9. As much as I love to cook I've never made/eaten grits (blame it on the fact I live in upstate NY), so I'm so glad you shared some of these recipes so I can try them!
