New Year's Eve Party Ideas

There are so many New Year’s Eve options one can choose from: Celebrate the New Years in Time Square in NYC, have a New Year’s Eve dinner with some close friends, simply stay in and watch a movie and avoid the crowds, have a New Year’s Eve date night with that special someone, go to “the party” on New Year’s Eve, or throw a party of your own. I have done pretty much every New Year’s activity I listed above; sometimes it’s fun to be around a ton of people if you are in mood for it and other times it is wonderful to have more of an intimate party if you are looking for something more low key. Throwing your own New Year’s Eve party is a great way to ring in the New Year with friends and family, plus this way you can avoid the crowds and the lines…oh, the lines on New Year’s Eve! In an age of selfies, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, what would a party be without a photo booth type area. Besides who can resist play with some photo props and having their picture made against a fabulous backdrop!

Lastly, a New Year’s Eve party just wouldn’t be complete without some balloons and glitter to ring in the New Year!

      I agree, Christmas time has been busy this year; I think it was because Christmas and Thanksgiving were so close together this year! I hope you have a very happy and relaxing New Year's Eve this year!

      Etsy has so many great picture props to choose from, it is a little dangerous shopping on there sometimes, but fun!
