What To Pack In Your Carry-On

WHAT TO PACK IN YOUR CARRY-ON
Instead of titling this post “What To Pack In Your Carry-On” I guess I should have more accurately titled it “What To Pack In Your Longchamp: Carry-On Edition”. Every time I travel via airplane I always take my large Longchamp tote, it is one of the best things to use as a carry-on; large, stylish, looks great with any outfit, what more could you ask for! I’m getting ready to take a trip to the beach {hello warm weather and sunshine} and to be perfectly honest I actually packed my medium size Vera Bradley duffle with my clothes, etc. packed in it, so in all fairness I guess I am actually taking two carry-on, but a tote is really a purse, right… I avoid baggage claim when I can. I really do always take my Longchamp whether it is accompanied by Vera Bradley duffle or not. Here are the items I usually always put in my Longchamp carry-on.
1.             iPhone and iPhone charger are a must! I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I honestly don’t know how I would survive without my iPhone.
2.            MacBook Pro and MacBook Pro charger
3.            Makeup bag – Makeup is one of my favorite things, it’s like Kate Spade says, “Playing dress up begins at age five, and never truly ends.”
4.            Lilly Pulitzer Agenda – I pretty much write down everything in my Lilly agenda: ideas, obligations, lists, contacts, you name it, it’s in there.
5.            Wallet – A necessity! When I travel I keep my driver’s licenses, other identification, cash, credit card, etc. in my wallet.
6.            Book/Magazine – I just always like to have something to read on the plane
7.             Water and a snack – I usually grab something from Starbucks before I get on the plane
8.            Sweater – Sometime it can be a little chilly on the plane so it is always nice to have a sweater handy
9.            Toiletry bag – I always keep band-aids, tooth brush & paste, hand sanitizer, lotion, nail polish in the shade I am currently wearing, and mints in my toiletry bag
10.         Sunglasses – it’s always to have sunglasses handy for when you walk out of the airport

What do you normally pack in your carry-on?

  24. I've been seriously thinking about investing in a Longchamp, and I think this post might have convinced me! When I travel, my carry-on is almost identical! Depending on the trip, I may or may not have my laptop, but I always have a book, a sweater, and a snack. And my phone, obvi! I feel like I just tagged you in a tag, but now there's another one! I tagged you for the Monogram-a-holic Tag, one I thought you would enjoy! Haha details will be on my blog tomorrow:)
