Movies For A Rainy Day

Rainy days are hands down the best day to watch a movie! After all who wants to get out in a storm when they don’t have to? In Nashville and in many other parts are the South this week it has been raining like crazy; believe me, there is nothing I’d rather do then put on some yoga pant, cuddle up with the coziest blanket I can find, pop some popcorn, and watch a movie. Since it has been raining pretty much everywhere so far this week I thought I would share a few movies that would be perfect for a rainy day!
You’ve Got Mail – I first saw this movie when I was in the sixth grade and have loved it ever since, it is without a doubt my favorite movie. You’ve Got Mail is one of those movies that never gets old; I have to admit I have watched this movie twice in one day.
Rear Window – Grace Kelly is my style icon and my favorite actress, plus Jimmy Stewart is also my favorite actor of this time period. This movie has everything: fashion, love, and suspense.
Forrest Gump – This movie is a classic and if you haven’t seen it you seriously need to rent it!
Enchanted – I used to watch this movie all the time in college, before I went to bed – is anyone ever really too old to enjoy a good Disney movie…I think not! The music and story line is bound to leave you with a smile on your face.
Amityville Horror – Sometimes a rainy day calls for a scary movie, besides every now and than it’s fun to be a little afraid. Amityville is the scariest movie I will do and quit honestly the photo in this post alone is giving me a little case of the creeps.

What are some of your favorite movies to watch on a rainy day?

  13. You are never too old for a Disney movie. I still find myself sick in bed watching The Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast or Alice in Wonderland. Even some of the new movies are pretty good! Like who doesn't love Finding Nemo? haha
