I know
that it has been awhile since I have done a proper book review. I have about
three books that I am halfway done with that I keep alternating between; so a
few good book reviews are undoubtedly in the near future.
To make up
for the lack of book reviews I thought I would share a few books that are
currently on my to-read list. If you read my blog on a regular basis you
probably already know that I keep a running list of books to read in the notes
app on my phone {nerdy, I know…}. I’m always on the look out for a great book
to read, so if you have any book recommendations of your own please leave a
comment!
New York: Through a Fashion Eye,by Megan Hess// I have
read Coco Chanel: The Illustrated World of a Fashion Icon by Hess and
completely loved it and cannot wait to get my hands on another one of her
books. I am so smitten by her whimsical illustrations and how they add to the
story line.
The Couple Next Door, by ShariLapena// If you
are into mystery and thriller books this is definitely one that might peek your
interest. This is a domestic suspense about a young couple and friendly
neighbors until thing start to take a twist towards secrets, betrayals, and
lies.
Church of Spies, by MarkRiebling// I was
in a bookstore this weekend browsing around and stumbled onto Church of Spies.
I am usually pretty up to speed when it comes to history, but I had no idea
that the Pope was conspiring against the Nazi party on such a large scale. The
book summary definitely made it sound like a page-turner of a book.
