It’s time to haul out the holly, decorate a Christmas tree, and
hang some stockings. Christmas decoration are unarguably beautiful and do a
wonderful job of spreading putting people in the Christmas spirit! However, as
beautiful as Christmas are they have a tendency to be a little on the bulky
space and take up a good amount of space to the point where you might have to
rearrange some furniture. Today Hanna is guest posting on the blog to share a
few home styling tips that you just might come in handy this holiday season!
The Christmas season is almost here and
everybody is sure to be excited for the upcoming festivities. I know I am! As
it is my favorite time of the year, I do look forward to the holidays as it
always brings a feeling of magic, cheer, fun and wonderful family
get-togethers. As I delightfully think of the delightful tinsel to hang after
Thanksgiving, I was deliberating on how to keep a home décor as glamorous as
possible. There is no need for a complete makeover like remodeling your living
room, which, can be very expensive. Placing and changing some furniture and a
few accessories will make a big difference and won’t hurt your pockets as much
as renovating will. So, here are some ideas to make your home look posh
throughout the season and the months after.
1.
Armchairs. It is important to have the kind of furniture that
function for both comfort and style. You can place some armchairs and love
chairs near the fireplace for a more intimate and charming setting. The size of
this kind of furniture works well for minimal spaces where a huge couch would
have crowded up the area. Minotti, represented also online on sites likeShop Mohd has a full range of Italian armchair designs that are truly
stylish and elegant, available in various colors and materials. They are also
of the finest craftsmanship. On the other hand, if you have a spacious living
room, a good-sized comfortable couch will provide a lot of seating area.
2.
Throw pillows and plaids. Make your armchairs or couches look
more inviting while adding a touch of color and elegance to your home. You can
look for holiday patterns or opt for solid colors in jewel tones. Check out
Ferm Living or Henzel Studio’s pillow designs that can blend with the holiday
colors. In addition, you can also place some plaid across the couch or settee
for more warmth. You can find wool or silk ones by Flou.
3.
Clocks. You need to have one for the countdown on New Year’s
Eve. Vitra’s Multicolor Sunburst Clock would go well with the season’s colors
and it will always be an elegant piece of wall furniture for the whole year.
There are also other designs available. Likewise, other brands offer unique
pieces such as Diamantini & Domeniconi with their tasteful clock art. Check
here some straordinary decorative wallclocks ideas.
