My Favorite Fall Madewell Picks

Is it just me or is anyone else excited for the arrival of the fall season? Over the years fall has turned into one of my favorite seasons, it is like the kick off to the holiday season. There is nothing quite like steeping outside on a fall evening with that certain crisp in the air, the crunch of leaves beneath your feet, and viewing some of the most beautiful sunsets of the year.

It has been said that Madewell is the tomboy sister of J. Crew, which I definitely agree with; but some of their items are just oh so perfect for the fall season and they can easily be played up or down. Since Madewell has come to Nashville I have found that I prefer shopping at J. Crew during the spring and summer months and Madewell for fall and spring. Sorry J. Crew, but Madewell just seems to have the cozier sweaters, fluffier flannel shirts, and their fall skirts are more flattering.

I received the Madwell fall magazine in the mail a few weeks ago and just had a chance to go into their store last week, and let me just say their fall collection is way cuter in person than it is on the internet/catalog. Here are a few of my favorite Madewell fall picks.
