A Very Minty Spring

A VERY MINTY SPRING
A couple weeks ago I was shopping around the Nordstrom shoe department and noticed that the dominate color was mint green: mint green sandals, mint green heels, mint green running shoes, and so on. I’m going to go ahead and predict that mint just might possibly be a “spring color” in the fashion world this spring, fingers crossed.

In my honest opinion you just can’t beat pastels when it comes to the spring in summer season. The color pallet always seems to be so flattering on everyone and adds an extra element of brightness after a cold winter season. After all, who doesn’t look great in a beautiful shade of blue or mint green. Granted I may be biased – I have blonde hair and fair skin so baby blue, mint green, and white are my colors, plus they are the three colors that remind me of the beach; my favorite place on Earth!

I may be getting ahead of myself, but I have a strong feeling that we will be seeing a lot of mint green {and hopefully a lot of baby blue} this spring. To add a little brightness/color to such a snowy, icy, and cold day I thought I would share some mint green inspiration.

  1. I love mint green, so I hope we see a lot of it! Mint Candy Apple polish by Essie is my favorite way to wear mint in the spring :)

    1. I feel like I can never get a good tan; I think the sun just reflects off of me... But I am excited to be able to wear mint greens and light blues hopefully soon!
