Weekend Shopping

Is anyone else ready for the weekend, or just me? It’s only Tuesday and I feel like I have walked through three lifetimes already this week. I know it is a little silly to be upset over someone you didn’t know, but I am so saddened by the news of Dolly Parton.

Every time I get on Instagram tonight my heart breaks a little seeing the post. As a Nashville Native, growing up until today I only heard about these fantastic things Dolly Parton did around – she started the Imagination Library, made countless donations to research at Vanderbilt, bought a block of building so occupants wouldn’t have to move, helped put countless people through college, and so much more. I can honestly say that I never heard anyone say anything negative about her and I never heard of a negative interaction that involved Dolly Parton.

I know many people, including myself, struggle at times trying to figure out the meaning of life, or the meaning/the “why” something happened. Maybe we aren’t meant to understand the meaning behind everything, but I think we can all agree that maybe the most important thing is to leave the world a little better off than we found it, and that is something Dolly Parton definitely did. So, in a world that is currently littered with corruption and negativity, may we all find out inner Dolly, and dare to be a diamond in a rhinestone world.

One// Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Pumpkin Braiser

Once fall hits, please sign me up for everything pumpkin and autumn related. Even if you’re not a cook and would rather order out, this piece would be wonderful for fall kitchen décor.

Two// High-Rise Low-Slung Trouser Shorts

Completely love that the trouser shorts have come back around. This was such a great trend in the 90s, and even better now!

Three// Black Merino Hewitt Turtleneck Dress

Firmly believe that everyone needs to own a little black dress… this one is a must own and the price point is so reasonable.

Four// Ralph Lauren Corduroy Pleated Shirtdress

The only question I have about this dress is, where has this been all my life. I really appreciate an easy dress I can throw on, wear with a pair of boots and feel completely put together in a very short amount of time

Five// YSL Sac De Jour Tote in Suede

The pictures do not do this bag justice – it is even more beautiful in person. Such a great everyday bag that would even be perfect for travel or last-minute dinners. It is a stunning piece.

Six// LAKE Pajamas Pima Long-Long Three-Piece Bundle

I love when LAKE comes out with a bundle set. Some nights I am in the mood for shorts and some nights I am in the mood for pants – the bundle is the best of both worlds without having to buy the same print in two different styles.

Seven// J. Crew Cropped Barn Jacket

J. Crew always comes out with some of the best fall and winter coats and jackets. I really love the suede material this one is made from and the fact that the cut of this jacket makes it so versatile.

Eight// Boston Birkenstock

When I was in high school Boston Birkenstocks were one of the options for uniform shoes. I still love plaid and Bostons. I really love some of the 90s and early 2000s trends that have made their way back around, and this is one that I am especially excited about!

Nine// Hill House The Beverly Pant

These pants are beyond flattering and such a classic

Ten// Washable Silk Lace Skirt

I am always so blown away by the quality Quince has and the price their things are sold at – it is really amazing, in the best way. I feel like silk skirts are everywhere right now and this one would be such a great option to add to your wardrobe.

Eleven// Mark & Graham Oh My Mahjong Rummy Tile Game Set

This would be such a fun game to have on hand for game nights with friends or family and the carrying case makes it so easy to transport to someone else’s house.

Twelve// Summer Fridays Exfoliating Pads

Summer Fridays is one of my favorite beauty lines at the moment – I have fallen in love with every single product I have tried of theirs.

Thirteen// Ginori Mug

I first ate at the Ginori restaurant in New York last summer and have been in love with their dishes ever since. These are such fun heirloom pieces and a great way to add a pop of color to any tablescape.

Fourteen// Clara Mule

I really appreciate a shoe you can slide on and go. This details of this mule is so beautiful.

Fifteen// Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer Classic

Strongly believe that everyone needs a pair of wayfarers in their sunglass collection. These would look so good with a sweater this fall!

Sixteen// Swarovski Crystal bracelet

I actually have this bracelet in an older style and really love it. It is beautiful on its own or stacked with other bracelets.

Seventeen// Hidden Garden Scarf 45

I have this scarf in the 90 and plan on purchasing the 45 because the print is so beautiful. The tones of brown and golds and the bunnies that are incorporate into this scarf is just beautiful.

Eighteen// Dior Addict Glass Lipstick Ultra-Shine Hydrating Lip Gloss

Dior makes some of my favorite lipsticks and their packaging is always so pretty. Love this one
