Kate Spade Kids

Kate Spade just launched their kids collection for girls and it is all so cute! All of the Kate Spade favorites such as the fit and flare dresses complete with a bow and the Dorothy coat have been shrunken down to child size. I seriously wish Kate Spade kids was around when I was younger. I have to admit back in the 90’s I though was so “it” rocking my Gap Kids floral overalls and my collection of gelly roller pens. There are so many pint-sized fashionista amongst today’s youth that are all so ridiculously cute; I am sure many of them will be styling the new Kate Spade Kids collection.

Lilly Pulitzer New Arrivals

I am pretty much ecstatic that this is the last week of February, aka the worst month of the year. The first day of March is Sunday, which means spring is reaching distance! In Nashville we are still suffering through the last bit of winter. I am always hoping for snow, but after last week I have my fingers crossed that the weathermen are wrong and it doesn’t snow later on today. I say bring on the sunshine and the warmth, come on Mother Nature, get on with the good weather! Since we can only dream of sunny days right now, I thought I would share with you some of the Lilly Pulitzer new arrivals, which are fantastic! I may or may not have already bought a dress and new bikini in preparation for those sunnier days that are just around the corner.

Amy Ruth Designs

Don’t say I didn’t warn you a few days ago that I probably post way too much about paper good products… A couple weeks ago I received a package from Amy Ruth Designs filled with paper goods: enclosure cards, stationary, journals, phone cases, page flags - if I could put my excitement into words I would.

I confess that I am totally smitten with Amy Ruth Designs and all of their products. After all, who can help themselves when it comes to monograms, cute designs, animal prints, and so much more. Amy Ruth Designs creates not only cute products but products of quality.
In the technological world of texts and email that we live in today, it is easy to forget the meaning and impact a hand written note has. Let’s face it, emails are great when it comes to corresponding with people and getting an immediate response, but it doesn’t replace the sincerity and the little extra touch of thoughtfulness a hand-written portrays. My sentiment is if you’re going to send a nice note it should without a doubt be pretty stationary.
It may be hard to believe, but I always seem to have a hard time finding enclosure cards to put on/in gifts. I usually end up cutting a piece of paper into a square with craft scissors and break out the calligraphy pen as a last ditch effort to make it look somewhat nice. Amy Ruth has an abundance of enclosure cards complete with very cute designs and prints. I am happy to say I finally know a good website I can go to to order some nice enclosure cards.
Amy Ruth also offers notebooks of many varieties: Journals, mini journals, spiral notebooks, and some very cute folders. I used to totally hate the thought of having a running to-do list stored in my phone – I will along with the to-do list I have on my phone I still write it down on paper {there is just something so satisfying about being able to cross something off a list} which the Amy Ruth mini journals are perfect for. I also like to use slightly bigger notebooks, such as her journals, to write down thoughts and keep track of who I need to email.
Amy Ruth Designs started off as a husband-wife company in 2010 and has since grown that a wonderful company who sales products of quality that just happen to be very cute. If you haven’t checked out Amy Ruth Designs yet Click Here to do so – I promise you will be just as smitten with the company as I am!

“No matter how far I get from home, I always appreciate the hometown American feel of the town where I grew up. We want our products to show how big the world is and how much there is to explore. At the same time, we want to help people connect to those they love and remind them of the familiarity of home."
