New Year's Eve Party Inspiration

In my experience it is not uncommon to have a party to throw together last minute or a friend who decides they want to host a New Year’s Eve party spur of the moment. It can be a little overwhelming to put together a last minute party, but it is mostly fun, exciting, and somewhat of adrenaline rush. One thing I really like about New Year’s party is that you can make them as festive as you desire and basically anything party décor goes as long as it has glitter on it – gold glitter, white and white, with a few bright colors thrown in here and there is my personal favorite New Year’s Eve party colors. Incase you are one of these individuals who is suddenly swept up in the spirit of New Year’s Ever or have waited last minute to put together a party here are few New Year’s Eve party inspirations.

Christmas Rewind

I say it every year and I will say it again, the Christmas season just never feels long enough. There are always so many Christmas activities I want to check off my list each year and I can never seem to fit them all, but one year it will happen! When the Christmas season is in full swing, the decorations up, the twinkle lights turned on, the Christmas spirit showing its presence, the anticipation of the arrival of Santa Clause, there is a touch of magic in the air that no other season or holiday seems to bring. Christmas time also seems to bring human kind together in a way that no other holiday does, despite those occasional people who may steal your parking spot at the mall. I am one of “those people” who celebrates and openly listens to Christmas music up until New Years weekend, after that I am a closet Christmas music listener till the season come around again. I thought it would be fun to share with you a few pictures from this holiday season. I hope everyone have a very Merry Christmas and is enjoying the rest of the holiday season spending time with friends and family. Warmest Holiday Wishes!

Sunday Night Thought

Dresses For New Year's Eve

I have to confess New Year’s Eve is one of those events that I dread and look forward to all at the same time. It is a little said to say goodbye to the past year, come to the realization that all the events that have happened over the year are just a memory now and so on, but it is exciting to think all of all the possibilities the New Year holds, the events that have yet to be unfolded, and the new memories and opportunities that are waiting.

Another thing I dread and look forward to on New Years Eve is the crowd. Once I am at a party with I a good crowd of people I am a happy person and definitely have a fun time, but I do dread the crowd until I am actually in it. Depending on my mood on New Year’s Eve I either stay in and watch the ball drop in time square, go out to dinner with a few friends, or go all out and go to “the” New Year’s Eve party that is happen that year. I have yet to determine which avenue I am go to go this New Year’s Eve, but one thing is certain – I will be wearing sequins.

The best part of New Year’s Eve is that you get to dress up, and no amount of sequins or glitter can ever be enough for this one night of the year. It is hard to believe that there are only three day left of 2014! Three days is still enough time to find the perfect dress to bring in 2015 with. Something tells me that 2015 is going to be a pretty great year so here are a few equally great dresses to ring in the year!

Happy Hour Time

Welcome one, welcome all to another very happy hour time on the blog! I hope everyone had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas Day with family and those close to them. It almost seems unreal that this is the last weekend of 2014, the year has flown by, but I have a feeling that 2015 is going to be even better. Since this is the last weekend of 2014 make it one to remember with a holiday activity, fun trip, or just spending time with friends and family. Cheers!

“It takes a level of self love, of dedication and determination to live your greatest life. So, look within. Look at every area of your life and ask yourself these questions: Am I on course? Am I growing mentally, emotionally and spiritually? Anything that is blocking that, anything that is preventing you from living your greatest life, make the tough decision to let it go.”
